Debian GNU 2.2
Kernel 2.4.20 on an AMD Duron

Welcome to Eric the BBS. (yeah yeah, it's still called Eric :)
This is (probably) the last of a long line of BBSes I've run. (if you're
really curious about the history of this place, type history once logged in)
There's no doubt some features missing/bugs to be fixed, let me
know if there's something particulary annoying and I'll see if I can
fix it.

Greg

Yep....I'm still on dial-up. My sister across the street has DSL - my
sister around the corner has DSL - my sister around the corner and down
the street has DSL - my brother has Shaw Cable Internet Lite - but he's
the maverick. I wonder if my cousin has DSL?

Yes, we can get high speed here but I'm just too darn cheap.

My God I can't believe this. Little Red told me a while back that the
board still existed here, but I just never took the time to check it out.
Now I'm here, and I'm stunned to find so many names from WAY back when
it all started (for me anyway)....Bunny Hunts, Fridays at Robin's, The
Merry Family parties.....aww crud I'm getting all watery eyed here.
Ummm...I used this alias cuz I think it's the one I originally had and
maybe some of you will remember me.....I also went by 'The Killer Milkman'
on the CB back then....had many handles since. Anyway, if anybody out
there remembers and cares to get in touch I would luv to chat and rehash
old memories either on here or thru email, ICQ, or Yahoo messenger.
If you see me on here and I don't answer right away just give me a few
seconds...it's been a LONG time and I don't remember how to use the commands
on this damn thing.
Hopefully talk with at least a few of you later,
   Trev
